1. About Perspective Art
Perspective Art operates a Johannesburg printmaking studio, online art shop and cultural programme. The website presents artworks, artists, collections, editorial content, studio services and opportunities to make enquiries.
2. Artwork information
We aim to describe artworks accurately, including artist, title, medium, year, dimensions, edition and framing status where known. Screen colour, scale and texture may differ from the physical work.
3. Availability and orders
Artwork availability is subject to confirmation. An order is only final once payment has been accepted and the work has been reserved for the buyer. If a work is no longer available, any affected payment will be addressed promptly.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website. Delivery, insurance, framing, installation or special handling may be quoted separately. Payment methods available at checkout may change over time.
5. Shipping, collection and delivery
Delivery arrangements depend on the artwork, destination and handling requirements. Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but may be affected by courier, customs, framing or production factors outside the studio’s direct control.
6. Condition and returns
Please inspect delivered work promptly and report any transit damage with photographs and packaging details. Return or cancellation requests are considered according to the nature of the artwork, its condition and whether it was specially produced, framed or commissioned.
7. Copyright and permitted use
Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. Artwork images, writing, video and other site content may not be reproduced commercially without permission from the relevant rights holder.
8. Studio services and collaborations
Printmaking, editioning, collaboration and artist-led projects are scoped separately. Timelines, proofing, ownership, production responsibilities, pricing and sales arrangements should be confirmed in writing before work begins.
9. Website use
Users may browse, save works, submit enquiries and place orders for lawful personal or business purposes. Attempts to disrupt the site, misuse forms, copy protected content or interfere with transactions are not permitted.
10. Privacy and communication
Information submitted through forms, checkout, wishlist or newsletter functions is used to provide the requested service and communicate about relevant transactions or updates. Sensitive payment data is handled by the payment services made available through the website.
